1952 Packard 300

1952 Packard 300 with only 81,900 original miles. This Packard comes with a very unique and interesting history. This Packard was the car used to chauffeur the Du-Pont sisters back in the 1950s and early 1960s at the Fairmont Hotel in San Fransisco. If you look at the pictures carefully you can identify some interesting details of the Packard. The front seat material is different from the back seat striped upholstery, this was to differentiate the chauffer drivers area from the sisters rear seating area. Please note the foot rest on the floor board in the back seat area. Up front in the chauffeurs area note the front seat material as well as a black piece of leather above the armrest on the driverside door panel, this was done to prevent the door panel from getting dirty from the drivers arm. The Packard is in amazing condition, the interior is unbelievable, and the original mohair headliner is perfect. The Packard has been stored in a dry garage since 1965 when the driver passed away. This would explain why this Packard is in such amazing original condition. The Packard has NO rust what so ever. The Packard has never been in any accidents, all the body panels align perfectly, windows roll up and down effortlessly, all doors lock with original key, as well as ignition. The Packard also still has the original owners manual as well as original radio push button instruction manual. The Packard has the Super Straight Eight Thunderbolt motor with the optional Ultramatic automatic transmission. Please keep in mind the Packard has been stored since 1965 and will need fluids, hoses and fan belt changed, as well as a new battery. I have taken over 100 pictures of the Packard, so if there is a specific picture you would like to see, please ask. This is a rare find in this condition as well as the history of the Du-Pont sisters riding around in the back of the Packard thru the streets of San Fransisco. The pictures really do speak for themselves, but if there is a specific question you may have about the Packard. The Packard is still located here in the San Fransisco bay area and is available to see in person. Thanks for looking.
