1955 Ford Thunderbird

1955 Ford Thunderbird. It has a rebuilt Ford 312 engine with '57 intake '57 carburation and '57 distributor. Crown Vic Moldings have been modified and added to the sides of the car. The large window has been built into a standard '55 top. Until copied it is the only one in the country. The car was a complete body off restoration. Every component from the diff. to all the front end units were restored or rebuilt. The frame and all metals were powder coated. All chrome and stainless steel is in excellent condition. There is all new wiring throughout. The tac, clock, and speedometer were refurbished. There are power windows and seats. The air ducts are solid, no rot. There are disk brakes on the front wheels with a dual master cylinder. The interior is all Leather as well as the dash. The 3 speed transmission was fully rebuilt and all rebuilt components used. A new rebuilt 56/57 steering column has been installed, along with a new small steering Wheel. There is power steering. I have retained the 6 volt system, as original. Not shown, there is a pair of excellent rear fender skirts. Other 56/57 units such as wing windows, sun visors, Door latches, and fender splash shields have been added. Several additional Pictures are available upon request. I have documentation for most expenditures. I have enjoyed this car for about 30,000 miles since the restoration.
